DESCRIPTION:The LMA\, in conjunction with Vario Partners LLP\, would like to invite you to a presentation and panel discussion.  This follows on from the event held in May 2017 entitled ‘the impact and opportunities of Insurance Linked Securities (ILS) for the Lloyd’s market’.  \nOver the last year a new UK ILS framework has been passed by parliament\, a series of significant natural catastrophe events have tested the ILS market\, and Lloyd’s have been exploring new sources of capital to insure the Central Fund.  \nTo discuss these developments a panel session has been arranged to include:  \n • Michael Watson\, Canopius/Vario Partners\n • John Parry\, Chief Financial Officer\, Lloyd’s\n • Michael Wade\, Tiger Risk\, former adviser to HMRC Treasury \nAn introduction will be provided by Ken Curtis\, Finance Director\, LMA. \nAUDIENCE\nChief Executive Officers\, Finance Directors\, Chief Risk Officers\, Active Underwriters and Compliance Officers.
