DESCRIPTION:AUDIENCE\nAnyone with an interest in claims. \nThis event will be co-chaired by James Cooper and David Abbott\, partners from Clyde & Co. Associates will assume the roles of legal advisers to the insurer and insured respectively. They will present competing cases on a number of topical insurance coverage issues\, including: \n\naggregation\nlate payment damages\nfraudulent devices following Versloot\nthe ‘duty to speak’ following Ted Baker v Axa.\n\nAt the end of each case study\, ‘judgment’ will be given by Julia Dias QC\, 7 King’s Bench Walk. However\, justice is democratic in the LMA LIIBA U35 Claims Group and\, as we are keen to know your views\, all delegates will have an opportunity to vote on the outcome of the moots. \nThis event will be of interest to young claims professionals\, providing both an update on recent legal issues and insight into how these may play out in practice.
