SUMMARY:The IIAL: Aiding Dubai's Journey in Further Developing Islamic Insurance
DESCRIPTION:IIAL was set up in London in April 2015 and is chaired by a former Chairman of Lloyd’s of London\, Max Taylor. Its role is to promote the use of Islamic Insurance and to use the skills within the City of London\, and the London Insurance Market to drive more appetite and understanding of Islamic (re)insurance. \nAs part of that work Lloyd’s Dubai encouraged IIAL to come to the UAE and to meet with officials from both the DIFC and the Dubai Islamic Economy to see how London can help support the broader UAE Islamic Economy initiative in terms of partnership and support.
