DESCRIPTION:The EU General Data Protection Regulation comes into effect on 25 May 2018. \n\nThe new regulation will introduce additional requirements for UK businesses\, including those relating to consent\, data portability and erasure\, and will also create specific issues for the insurance market.Jade Kowalski\, DAC Beachcroft\, will provide an overview of the GDPR.\nEmma Bate\, DAC Beachcroft\, will give an update on progress with Fair Processing Notices\, Consent and Market Guidance.\nIsabel Ost\, Clyde & Co\, will provide a summary of practical steps you can take to prepare for implementation.\n\nThis event is open to All London Market firms (maximum 2 attendees per firm).
