DESCRIPTION:FERMA Forum 2024\nFerma is delighted to invite you to Madrid for the FERMA Forum in what is a landmark year for our association and a pivotal one for our profession. \nThis year we are celebrating FERMA’s 50th anniversary and I will be pleased to welcome you to the beautiful city of Madrid as we explore our theme: “Join the Risk Revolution.” \nWe truly are in a new era for risk. In a world that is constantly moving forward\, the risk environment is highly complex and changing at full speed. \nAnd this year is an important one globally. It will be the most significant election year in history\, with at least 40 national elections taking place\, including the European ones in June\, raising concerns over AI-driven misinformation and disinformation. Geopolitical turbulence continues to have an impact on almost every region\, the need to achieve net zero is ever more pressing\, technological advances and the rise of intelligent machines are affecting companies of all types\, and the generation gap and the evolution of work is changing our organisations and how they will operate now and in the future. \nIn light of these new realities\, risk management is increasingly seen as a catalyst for companies to gain competitive advantage and a driver for growth and resilience. Let’s seize this opportunity to enhance and reinvent our expertise to be ready to lead Risk Management through this new era! \nThe FERMA Forum is the place to anticipate what is to come. We will explore the global trends and their impact on Europe and on our organisations. We will reflect on how Risk Managers can navigate this new era and how risk strategies are evolving or should evolve. We will discuss with our partners new approaches and solutions to co-build a sustainable\, innovative and resilient business ecosystem. \nThe programme has been designed to enhance opportunities for risk professionals to network and make contacts from across Europe and beyond.
