DESCRIPTION:The 29th EAIC will be held in Manila from May 6 to May 9\, 2018 with the theme of “Managing Disruptions\, Driving Change”. \nIn 1962\, the East Asian Insurance Congress (EAIC) was founded with the ultimate goal of furthering and developing international collaboration in the field of insurance of every sort. Over its history\, EAIC has been billed as the premier biennial insurance event of the region. \nEvery other year\, the EAIC hosting rotates across its member cities to continue the networking mission across the region. This rotation comes as a way for the EAIC to showcase the best that the countries in the region can offer from having its own unique insurance practices to addressing issues that can help boost credibility and confidence in the local insurance industry. \nBarbara Schurer with Reynaldo De Dios\, one of the oldest regular attendees of the EAIC\, who turned 90 last year. \nThis 2018\, the 29th EAIC returns and is hosted by one of its very first host countries\, the Philippines\, on May 6-9\, 2018. The city of Manila was the second city to play host to this premier Congress in 1964\, at the turn of the millennium in 2000. \nOn the 29th EAIC in Manila\, hundreds of Asia’s leading insurance executives and upcoming talent will converge.
