DESCRIPTION:In this IIL claims webinar\, speakers focus on the application of war exclusion in relation to claims that arise due to cyber warfare. The panel address the history of the war exclusion\, the interpretation of language commonly used in war exclusions and the potential for the application of the war exclusion on cyber-related claims. \nDescription\nThis webinar includes a discussion of the history of case law that has analysed the war exclusion and similar terms. The speakers discuss the implication of courts’ interpretations of relevant terms\, addressing recent lawsuits that have attempted to seek coverage under the war exclusion and the court’s interpretations of that language. \nRelevant current events topics will also be addressed\, including cyber-attacks in the context of Russia’s war in Ukraine.
