DESCRIPTION:Asia Insurance Review (AIR) as the voice of the insurance industry in Asia is very proud to host the China Rendezvous this year given the growing importance of China in the global insurance scene. And given the critical role of the local companies in the market\, we will extend two complimentary invitations to each Chinese insurance company to send their reinsurance colleagues to the event. \nWe are responding to repeated requests for a need for an insurance networking platform in China. The three day Rendezvous will start with the opening cocktail in the evening of 5th and then the next two days of conferencing in the morning and bilateral meetings in the afternoon for the next two days. \nThere will be high quality simultaneous translations at the Conference to allow interactive discussions and debates. \nTo underscore the idea of new things happening in China\, the theme is: “The Brave New Era of Reinsurance in China” with a focus on role of insurance and reinsurance in the Belt & Road initiative\, the key to underwriting profitability\, managing NAT CATS\, cyber risks\, regulatory issues\, governance and compliance\, risk management\, technology and disruption wave\, InsurTech\, driverless cars\, & digital insurance.
