DESCRIPTION:This event has been postponed or cancelled\n					Message from the event organisers: As we worked through our risk management process and considered different scenarios\, it became clear that we need to stop the planning for our June annual conference in Edinburgh because of the coronavirus pandemic. We have taken this decision reluctantly. Our focus has to remain with the well-being of the risk community and an awareness of our wider responsibility to support the fight against the virus – health and safety remains our priority. If there are opportunities to hold networking events including the ERM Forum and the Annual Dinner later in the year\, then we will. However\, a large conference which takes months to organise is highly unlikely to occur this year.\n				\nWe are living in the New World\, in which risks are increasingly interconnected\, unpredictable and fast moving. \nAt Airmic 2019 conference\, the industry came together to debate how to respond to these challenges – and it was absolutely clear that greater collaboration\, closer ties and the sharing of ideas must be at the heart of our response. \nIt is only through collaboration\, the sharing of ideas and knowledge\, and the bringing together of diverse talent that our professions will thrive in the New World. That is why the theme for the 2020 conference is Working Together. \nThe organisers hope you will join the event in the beautiful historical city of Edinburgh\, where they will be throwing the spotlight on the importance of working together; debating the opportunities that co-creation opens up in our panel debates; presenting the results of the annual member survey; and lots more. \nLloyd’s will be exhibiting at the Airmic Annual Conference.
